The parents were overjoyed, but alas, the baby was so small and sickly that it was deemed necessary to baptize her as a matter of urgency. The father quickly sent one of his sons to the spring to draw the baptismal water, but the other six followed, and as each wanted to be the first to draw, the pitcher fell into the water. The seven boys just stood there, not knowing what to do, and certainly not daring to go home.
